Terms and Conditions for CustomWorth

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CustomWorth, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. License

CustomWorth is licensed under the MIT License and is provided as open source software. You are granted a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license to:

• Use the App for personal or commercial purposes
• Modify the source code
• Distribute copies of the App or modified versions

3. Description of Service

CustomWorth is a privacy-first, offline-only mobile application for tracking your net worth over time. The App allows you to:

• Track assets and liabilities
• Create snapshots of your net worth
• View historical trends via charts
• Export and import your data
• Set optional reminders

4. No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Use at your own risk.

5. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPERS OF CUSTOMWORTH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from use or inability to use the App
• Financial losses or decisions made based on information in the App
• Data loss due to device failure, app malfunction, or user error

Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the App is to stop using it.

• Cloud sync or backups
• Multi-device synchronization

All data is stored locally on your device. If you lose your device or uninstall the app without exporting your data, your data will be permanently lost.

The CustomWorth source code, documentation, and branding are subject to the MIT License. Contributions to the project are governed by the repository's contribution guidelines.

You may not use CustomWorth to:

• Engage in illegal activities
• Violate export control laws
• Harm minors
• Transmit malware or malicious code
• Impersonate others or provide false information (though the app doesn't collect identity information)

• Update these Terms

Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

You may stop using CustomWorth at any time by:

• Uninstalling the App from your device
• Deleting any exported backup files

• The App is 100% offline

• Riverpod - State management
• Hive - Local database
• FL Chart - Data visualization
• Flutter Local Notifications - Reminder notifications

These libraries are used for local functionality only and do not transmit data to third parties.

CustomWorth is available worldwide. However:

• We make no claims about appropriateness for any specific jurisdiction
• You are responsible for compliance with local laws
• Some features (like notifications) may be restricted by your device OS
